About Kelly Hansome

Orji Kelechi Obinna George Michael Hans aka Kelly Hansome is a gifted singer, song writer, producer and instrumentalist. He hails from Eziobodo in Owerri west local government area in IMO state where he attended Albright nursery school, Alvan staff Primary School, Government College Owerri. He is also a graduate of Computer science from Madonna University, Okija Anambra State. Armed with passion, patience and persistence Kelly Hansome delved into music and was signed by Kennis Music. He released his debut album Too Much Money which spurned hits like ‘Maga Don Pay’, ‘Like Play, Like Play’ and ‘Free Me’. The album was a commercial success and it made Kelly Hansome a house hold name in the Nigerian music scene. He formed his own imprint Maga Music after a split from Kennis Music. He continued to release music under the imprint satisfying his ever loyal fan base. In 2012 he released ‘We Built America’ Mixtape. That same year he wrote, produced and performed alongside Eno the official theme song for the Golden Icons Academy Award (GIAMA) titled ‘Will’. Kelly Hansome who is a US citizen shuffles between the States and Nigeria keeping his fan base happy with music and videos latest of which is ‘Baba Olowo’ released in December 2014. He recently signed a management deal with renowned Now Muzik entertainment services with plans to expand his reach in Nigeria and beyond. He is working on more music and a follow up to his debut. Since joining Now Muzik he has released the critically acclaimed single ‘Akunatakasi’. He has also performed at high profile events such as Gidi Culture Festival, and the exclusive Airtel annual staff get-together to mention a few. The multi-talented singer is also an actor, voice trainer, vocal coach, and computer wiz.
