Jibola Toriola popularly known as Jhybo Rapwoli was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Jhybo started rapping & singing at the age of 10, from his early years to now he has built up an amazing catalogue of work. A very gifted & deep rapper with a great sense of humour often referenced in his work. Favorite and well known saying/chants are 'Be Naa Ni' - meaning > 'That's just the way it is' and 'Limolaligama Lagoboyo Lebosh' > meaning ' Spiritual calling'. Jhybo is well known as an indigenous rapper, predominately rapping in his local dialect, with his unique style he has amassed a huge fan base after releasing the popular track, 'They Just Dey Run Their Mouth', which featured the talented artist Cynthia Morgan. Shortly after Jhybo embarked on a solo mission releasing a number of singles funded independently – Over, Money Sure Pass, Rotate and also featured with a number of other artists. In early 2014 Jhybo founded Lima Sound, derived from his spiritual chant 'Limolaligama Lagoboyo Lebosh', the name LIMA was further developed to mean 'Living In Movement Always', after he split with his former label Bay Productions in June 2014 and traveled alone from place to place to showcase his creative talents. Lima then developed into a collective of young ambitious individuals to further cement his career in the music industry. Thus far they have released a plethora of unique and original tracks & videos - Baba Loke featuring Orezi Alhaji, Baba Alaye featuring Q Dot, Lomo, Shuga, Adura Elijah, For The Local, Iya Yin, Adura Elijah Remix featuring Oritse Femi, Iya Yin Remix featuring CDQ X Yung6ix X Oshine, Yala Yolo, Concentrate On Your Life, Coming Thru featuring Duncan Mighty X Small Doctor and most recently Para featuring Sound Sultan. Lima Sound’s fan base has grown immensely over the years citing fans all over the world – in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Ghana, Kenya , South Africa as well as in Nigeria. Jhybo has worked with some of the top music producers in the Nigeria music industry - Josh Beatz, Samklef, McVance, Suka Sounds, Prodo, Antrasbea, Popitob, Snagxy, Swapsonthemix & Brain Mix to name a few.
