About Eddie Khae

Edwin Khae (born March 11, 1997) is a Ghanaian musician well known for his worldwide hit single "Do The Dance". Khae, the last of three children and a twin, was born and raised in Accra Ghana, to his mother Gertrude Asamoah. Khae started rap music at his younger age and continued throughout his schooling. He attended St.Theresa's Preparatory school and St.Augustines's College, Cape Coast. He is currently a final year student at the Central University. His first indie record Do The Dance rose him to fame, and became a major bash throughout Ghana. Eddie Khae started as a hip-hop rapper in high school, with other school mates. He got his breakthrough in 2018 after releasing his hit single "Do The Dance" which made waves all over Ghana, accompanied with a unique dance for the song which won the most popular song of the year at the 2018 Central Music Awards, where he currently schools. He has since released more singles and has worked with a couple of artistes which include sensational rapper Medikal on a single dubbed 'Speak In Tongues. His song has consistently remained in the top songs in Ghana since its release. The "Do the Dance" song also went viral on social media with videos of people exhibiting special moves and dancing skills associated with the song. Khae has graced almost all the big platforms in Ghana which includes the VGMA celebration Jam, RTP Awards, December 2 Remember, Afrochella, Detty Rave, S Concert, Tidal Rave, Central Music Awards and over 15 schools in Ghana
